Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Thanks for taking the time to help us help you! Also, PLEASE remember to change the flair of your post to Solved after you have been helped! Your post has not been deleted - do not re-submit it. If you have met these requirements, you can ignore this comment. If this is your first time creating a virtual machine, we have a guide on our wiki that covers the important steps. Please also check our FAQ and if you find your question is answered there, PLEASE remove your post or at least change the flair to Solved. Please check Google and the VirtualBox Manual before asking simple questions. PLUS a detailed description of the problem, what research you have done, and the steps you have taken to fix it. Whether you have installed Guest Additions and/or Host Extensions (this solves 90% of the problems we see) Whether you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V (applicable to all hosts running 6.1 and above) and disabled HyperV (applicable to Windows 10 Hosts) This is just a friendly reminder in case you missed it. Also sometimes it just works fine, so it's hard to test if a fix works. I have ExpressVPN running, so I don't know if that's the issue (fully updated today), but I don't download files without my VPN up for privacy reasons. I've tried switching the network adapter from NAT to Bridged Adapter, but no dice. However if I try to download big files/torrent or move files around (between NAS/VM, etc), my internet after a short amount of time will drop (works fine on HostOS), and the only way to fix it is to reboot the VM. Whenever I launch my VM, my internet works fine. My host OS (hard wired connection) has no issues. I can't really find a clear source explaining how to check if/where Host Extensions/Guest Additions would be? I've had this VM running for months and haven't been able to find a fix, so I'm extra rusty on Linux. I don't believe I have any host extensions? I'm extremely new to Linux and find it very difficult to figure it all out.
